Baby Point Toronto's West End
Luxury Neighbourhood
No matter how you pronounce it, be it "bah-bee point" or "bay-bee point", it's a nice part of town. The borders of this are Jane to the east, Lessard Avenue to the south off of Jane Street, Baby Point Crescent to the west and St. Mark's Road to the north.
The average home here is usually a 2-storey, 3 or 4-bedroom with a private drive and decent garden. These homes tend to fall generally under the category of a traditional type home. However, during the past couple of years, many homes have been renovated to reflect more transitional sensibilities. This area has always been and continues to be more of a family-focused area. With schools nearby and shopping just a short drive away, this area is ideal for many. The closest subway station would be Jane. Depending on where you live in this area, it could take you a good 15-20 minutes to walk to the subway.
You're very close to Bloor West Village as well as the Junction and nearby shops along Annette closer to Jane Street.
This is truly a quaint part of the west end. Like many surrounding pockets, this one feels like it's no where near the hustle and bustle of the big city yet it's about a 15 minute drive to the city's core provided you travel down the South Kingsway to access the Gardner.
The area also has it's own tennis court and club house however it's for residents only, sorry.
Baby Point Real Estate Price Range for a typical 2 storey home is $800,000 to over $5 million
